Nowadays, The immigration Automated Clearance system is widely used in many countries around the world to save time for travelers. The traveler supposed to scan their document and finished the check-in with only a few steps. While, in Thailand immigration, I usually found several officers standing in front of the machine and doing the check-in for people instead of letting them do it by themselves and increase the waiting time for people. Even with the people who feel confident to check-in by themselves, like me, the officers still do the check-in for them and sometimes slow down the process. Personally, I feel uncomfortable with this situation because I don't want people to keep waiting .But for some people who are not comfortable with technology might feel secure when they have some people to support because they also don't want people to wait when the make a mistake.
